Elephant Stink

T: I don't like you
Me: Well, I like you
T: But I don't like you
Me: Why?
T: Because you're stinky
Me: What do I smell like?
T: Elephant Stink!

So, was it my morning mouth or the fact that I hadn't showered for 36 hours?

The recipe for Honey

We were talking about the difference between bees and wasps/hornets last night at dinner (roasting hot dogs over the fire pit in the back yard) when T decided to tell us how bees make honey ...
"They [the bees] cook them in a little pan with a spoon and they scoop them with a ladle and they put them in a jar and they give it to us and we eat it all up and then they make some more."
I kid you not, this was his awesome story about how bees make honey. I wrote it on a post it note as he was telling us.

Put it in your Pocket

What?!? You don't want me to take a video? That's a first. He did enjoy watching it over and over and over in the car the next morning though.
I hate getting the video orientation wrong. I really need to remember to rotate the phone.

I want my hat

T wanted to wear his hat this morning

Daddy, the flash is too bright:

Dream

Me: "Did you have good dreams?" T (after sleeping in my bed most of the night): "There was no dream in your bed" Me: "Was there a dream in your bed?" T: "No, there was no dream in my bed either, but yesterday there was a dream in my bed"

I want something

T got out of bed the other night sometime after 9pm, well after his bed time, and shuffled down the hall while we were relaxing, watching TV. I went to meet him in the hall and T looked at me with a smile, "I want something." I asked him what he wanted. He replied "Parmesan cheese." Chuckling, I said "ok." I picked him up and set him down on the kitchen counter while I got out the cheese and a knife. While I was cutting off a sizable chunk, T said, "I want one... two... all of them" while sticking up one, then two, and then five fingers on his outstretched hand. There was still the majority of the cheese wedge remaining which made his remark even more hysterical.
